There’s a point in the middle of the day where everything starts feeling loud.
The tabs are open.
Your shoulders are tight.
Someone needs something from you.
Again.
Most people push through it.
That’s usually where the exhaustion begins.
Try This Instead
Walk away for ten minutes.
Not to be productive.
Not to optimize yourself.
Just to interrupt the spiral.
Stretch your arms overhead.
Unclench your jaw.
Open a window if you can.
Put your phone down face first for a minute like it personally offended you.
Then do one small thing that brings you back into your body.
Light a candle..
Drink cold water slowly.
Hydrate your lips.
Take three full breaths instead of the tiny stressed-out ones.
That’s it.
Tiny Resets Count Too
Recovery doesn’t only happen on vacations or Sunday mornings.
Sometimes it happens at 2:17 PM in your kitchen while the emails wait.
Those small pauses matter more than people think.
They remind your body that you’re not a machine.
And honestly, it deserves the reminder.
