FAQs
Are your products organic / natural?
Our products combine the power of naturally occurring and advanced science ingredients that are simple to use, highly effective, non-toxic, non-irritating, and absolutely cruelty-free. We do not use aggressive, irritating ingredients. Beyond this, we do not like labels such as ‘organic,’ ‘natural’ or ‘clean,’ which have no consistent definition and tell you nothing about a product’s safety or efficacy. We are committed to bringing you the very best ingredient science and being certified “organic” does not always yield the best ingredient.
What makes Drymint massage candles different from regular candles?
Drymint massage candles are specially formulated with organic oils (Jojoba, Argan, Sweet Almond, Coconut), cocoa butter, and minimal soy wax. They melt at a lower temperature than regular candles, creating a skin-safe, nourishing oil perfect for massage. Regular candles contain paraffin and other ingredients not suitable for skin contact.
Are Drymint massage candles safe for all skin types?
Our candles are formulated with gentle, organic ingredients suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. However, we always recommend doing a patch test on a small area before full use, especially if you have known allergies or very sensitive skin.
What's the shelf life of Drymint massage candles?
When stored properly in a cool, dry place with the lid on, our candles maintain optimal quality for 12-18 months. The natural oils may separate slightly over time, but this doesn't affect safety or quality.
How long do the candles burn?
Burn time varies by candle size, but typically ranges from 35-60 hours. The exact time depends on usage patterns, room conditions, and for massage candles - how often you use the melted oil for massage.
Do I need to use the entire melted pool of oil at once for the massage candles?
No! You can use as little or as much as needed. The remaining oil will re-solidify when the candle cools and can be re-melted for future use.
Will the oil stain sheets or clothing?
Our oils are designed to absorb well into skin, but like any oil-based product, they may stain fabrics. We recommend using towels to protect bedding and allowing the oil to absorb before contact with clothing.
